Dragon gloves, that is.
This was another project influenced by a Facebook post. A friend posted a picture of dragon gloves, then another copied it, then yet another. All thought they were the coolest things ever – so of course I had to offer to make each of them a pair.
I’ve finished the first pair; the other two will be done after the holidays. I must admit that these were a real lesson in learning to pay attention. I concentrated when I did the first glove, since I had to learn how to create it, and then thought I had it all figured out. For the next one, I finished the scaled part and started on the bottom. I was watching some show while doing this and was so distracted that I had gotten two-thirds of the way through the second part of the glove when I discovered I had forgotten to put in the thumb-hole. So I had to undo all that work. Le sigh…
These gloves do use a lot of yarn, but not as much as I had anticipated. I used two-thirds of a skein of Red Heart Unforgettable in Polo, with a 3.75mm hook.
