I lost 95% of my scarves in the fire that destroyed my home; not grabbing more of them is one of my many regrets about things I didn’t think to save. Also, I read that handwork like knitting and crochet increases serotonin, so creating things to replace items lost will have a secondary benefit.
Fortunately, I had a second ball of Yarn Art Flowers cotton yarn handy, and I wanted to give the Lost in Time pattern a second try – but this time without all of the colour changes and weaving in seemingly countless ends. I sometimes see cotton skeins in various lovely colours and am tempted, but I think the one attempt was enough.
I’m very happy with the result. This was done with one 1,000 meter ball and an H/5mm hook.
