This is another case of the correct yarn making all the difference. I’ve seen pictures of crocheted fedoras before, but they all seemed overly chunky, due to the yarn. But then I found this pattern:
The secret – besides a good pattern – is, of course, the yarn. This pattern uses Lion Brand Rewind yarn, which is a variation on ribbon yarn. It’s the perfect choice, since it’s not “yarn-ie”. The hat worked up fairly quickly and easily. I suspect that my friends will be requesting one of these…
